This episode aired on 2/28/12.  The Christi Center was established by Susan and Don Cox in 1987 to provide free, ongoing grief support to anyone who has suffered from the loss of a loved one.  This organization was created in honor of their daughter Christi, who was tragically killed by a drunk driver in 1985.

  • Segment 28 (1:13-42:06) – A story of loss and healing – Susan and Don joined Charmiel live in the studio to share their beautiful daughter Christi and their story of loss and healing, which ultimately led to the creation of their wonderful organization.
  • Segment 29 (42:07-50:39) – The Christi Center & its’ Programs & Services – Susan and Don will highlight their free programs and services offered to all those who have lost a loved one.
  • Segment 30 (50:40-55:59) – Dr. Patricia Stuart, a psychologist specializing in grief & a Christi Center Advisory Board member, closed the show with a beautiful song she wrote and dedicated to Christi, her loving parents, and Christi’s brother, Sean.  Dr. Randy Frazier, also a psychologist with his own private practice, and the President of the Christi Center’s Board of Directors accompanies his wife on the mandolin.

This final episode wraps up our Fall/Winter 2011/2012 Series. Please join us later in 2012 when the Grief to Peace Project will focus on hope and healing for our brave Service Men, Service Women, Veterans, and their families.
